i keep thinking about all the things that have happened in my life to bring me up to this moment, to where i am today. so many things had to happen, good or bad, it's so crazy to think about the sequence of events. i don't believe in fate, but coincidence. i think? i'm not sure exactly.
tyler is my bf (officially 11/23) and he's amazing and i really, rlly do like him. it's so crazy to think how much he likes me too, i just am all about this reciprocating adoration for one another. i've stayed over at his apartment several times now, once for a whole entire weekend, i hecking went to vermont with him for thanksgiving (which was quite an experience that i actually don't regret at all)
a lil bit about him: i met him on tinder which is such a funny thing esp bc of the negative stigma that it has. im so glad it worked out though. i didn't even rlly pay attention to his messages until he hit me with that "i should've super liked you". modern day romance.
he has a floofy mop of medium brownish blond hair that is so curly and soft. his eyes are mostly green with a little bit of hazel speckling in the center, although in some light they are such a vibrant green to even a more olive tone. he complains a lot about eating too much which is funny bc i eat the same amount he does most of the time, if not more. i love how comfortable i am with him. it's amazing to have someone like that. he's a musician, he's into songwriting and makes wonderful lil folky guitar tunes (his fave artist is bonnie prince billy). yet he also makes ambient, more phasing music which is diff to me but i appreciate it more (esp bc of my minimalism class).
we once made a salmon dinner with roasted potatoes and greens and along with a whole bottle of wine. "now i know what my mom feels like after dinner". he gave me his old ukulele when we went to vermont. i met his best friend (who has a penchant for glitter under the eyes and i admire him so much yet am also intimidated), his family, some of his band mates.
this past weekend, saturday night, i invited him to a free show on campus (thin lips/adult mom). trying to find each other was such a debacle bc he got off at the wrong train stop and his phone was also dying so coordination was difficult. but it all worked out.
we left the show early and went to an emerson party. we had pizza right before, the most amazing buffalo chicken ranch pizza i have ever tasted so far in boston, incredible place 10/10 would go back again. the party was amazing. i had 2 shots of fireball and 2.5 beers and was v v tipsy and almost couldn't walk. i was so sloppy but making out w tyler was so so nice. tyler's roommate dylan was also there. he's such a cool kid too.
i'm so excited for what other things we're going to experience together. he's so amazing and i just can't help but always feel like... why me?? how could i get so lucky?? i told him that, like how i kinda feel like he's out of my league, but he felt the same way -- crazy !! how !! but i'm glad we really like each other.
